It’s crazy to think that spring is almost over, which means it’s almost summer…which means it’s time to shed the winter pounds. Wah. I pretty much fell into a fatty lifestyle after the Zion Half Marathon, so it’s not going to be an easy process. Sure, I had a few active events here and there like Ragnar, Climb for Heroes, and NTC Tour, but they were spaced a part with lots of sitting around and crappy eating in-between. So in reality, me signing up for the Malibu Triathlon was a blessing in disguise. Let's get physical!

For the last three weeks I’ve been making a majority of my meals and working out at least four times a week, some of which are two-a-days. I’ve been swimming before work and the TI dvd has really helped me tackle swimming step-by-step. I wouldn’t say I’m a swimmer just yet, but I’m getting there. After work I go to the gym and do Kayla Itsines’ BBG workout, it’s a nice contrast. For my meals I start each day with my own Vitamix green smoothie, pack my lunch for work, and dinner is usually just protein, veggies, and some fruit…with a cookie or two at the end ;)

And instead of having events be my only form of workout, I’ve been adding them on top! This past week I joined Six 02 for “Six 02 Day” on 6/02 and survived a booty blasting workout with Sarah Kusch at the store. Then yesterday I joined Lorna Jane and Whitney Findorff from Orangetheory Fitness for a workout that definitely pushed my limits. Both events ended with some retail therapy, obviously. Who says ‘no' to exclusive discounts?! #NotMe. A special shout out to the lovely Tigress Young Lee for joining me on this very lovely Saturday morning! <3

A final piece of exciting news is that I am officially a Sweat Pink ambassador! I was accepted a few months back but just got my official pink laces this month. So if you’re in need of some new, adorable pink laces, let me know and I’ll hook you up :)
