Most of you know that being an Elite Yelper has consumed a lot of my time and thoughts. The first 15 minutes of any meal at a restaurant consists of food styling and finding the right light, and then taking a dozen photos until I get that one perfect shot. So I wanted to dedicate this post to some notable places that I’ve eaten at this year and let you all know that your many, patient waitings were not done in vain :)

The move has been in the works for the past month but honestly, everything has seemed like a blur.

I was at BLITZ for almost three years (10/31/11 - 09/19/14) and my final two weeks there hardly felt like an end. I formed some amazing connections and relationships, and have no doubt that I’ll stay in touch with many. I loved everything about the company and workplace, but sometimes you just know when that comfort zone isn’t a good thing anymore. Leaving BLITZ felt like leaving home but as with other stages in life, if there is no struggle, there is no progress.

So I thought it’d be a relevant post to share photos from a recent hike to The Wisdom Tree. Although it was a short hike, the first half up to the tree was pretty steep and a decent booty blaster. I went a little before 8AM on a Sunday and only ran into two other parties, so it was nice to enjoy the views without the masses.

The Wisdom Tree has a sweet spot with nice views of the Griffith Observatory, Lake Hollywood, (a glimpse of) Hollywood sign and downtown. There are also some fun rock formations around the tree, along with a keepsake box full of notes and oddities from visitors. It’s a fun and easy LA hike but minus the crowds so it’s definitely worth a visit if you get the chance.

Finally, in honor of the new season I will be launching a new series: Chasing Fall. Hope you like it!
